Happy Thanksgiving!

December 2nd, 2012

Surprisingly November has been a fairly quiet and low key month. Which is nice considering how crazy December will be. Brett and I of course went out to vote. Brett didn’t have much of a line but I had to wait 30 minutes. Which isn’t bad at all. We had a nice 70 degree weekend and we spent a lot of time outside soaking up what we are sure is the last of any warmth for awhile. We went to the members only premier of the Wildlights at the zoo. It was a cold but we had a wonderful time looking at all the lights and watching a few shows. The next week was Thanksgiving and as tradition we all gathered at the McCoy’s to celebrate and eat! Brett and I had a special announcement for the family….we are expecting a HUGE surprise….baby #3 will make his/her debut in June 2013. We are still adjusting to the news but after seeing him/her on the ultrasound, we are over the moon happy. This pregnancy so far has really taken it’s toll on me and I’m praying that the 2nd trimester will bring some relief from the morning sickness, heart burn, and the general feeling that I am losing my mind. I told Brett not to be surprised to find ice cream in the cupboards or keys in the freezer!
Martin continues to go to school and went on his 2nd field trip at the end of the month. He went to Giant Eagle and learned about food. We also had a parent/teacher conference and Martin is doing well in class. Brody continues to observe and then repeat…the good and the bad. Both boys are seeing the toy ads and are pointing at pretty much everything and saying “I want that”. Martin and Brody are so excited about Christmas. We now have 2 trees and Martin is begging for more decorations for the outside of the house.
