April showers always bring May flowers. However this year April brought our latest addition to Brett and Kate’s family! Brodrick Alton Henry made his debut on April 8 2010 at 7:21pm. He weighed 8lbs 14 oz (almost a half lb bigger than his brother) and was 21.5 inches long! The 4 of us are adjusting to life with Brody well. At the moment Martin is playing some music for Brody to enjoy while he is sleeping. Martin is still over the moon about his little brother. The only “negative” thing Martin has said is that Brody is loud when he cries.

The days are getting longer which is a good thing since we have been busy this month. March has been full of activity getting ready for Brody’s arrival. Kate started weekly appointments, which means the end is near! Martin is also getting excited about the prospect of being a big brother. He doesn’t understand what a big brother is but he will tell you that the baby’s name is baby. I guess we should start calling the baby Brody so he gets used to saying the name.
